Stories of Survivors was born out of the need to listen — to those whose voices have been silenced by conflict, displacement, and loss. It is a space where truth meets humanity, and where stories of pain, courage, and survival are told with honesty and care. The platform emerged from the heart of Northeast Nigeria, a region scarred by years of violence yet filled with people who refuse to give up. Each story shared here comes from real encounters — with mothers searching for their missing children, young people reclaiming their dreams, and communities piecing their lives back together from ruins.  Our work is deeply personal because survival itself is personal. We believe that every testimony, no matter how quiet or broken, carries the power to awaken empathy, challenge indifference, and inspire change. Through written stories, photos, and short documentaries, Stories of Survivors captures the moments that define resilience — not as a slogan, but as  lived experience. At its heart, this platform is a promise: to listen closely, to tell faithfully, and to never look away.
